How To Order

Online Orders

Please navigate our website using the menu at the top of the page and the refine search menu on the left-hand-side to find the product(s) you desire prior to adding them to your shopping cart.  Once you have finished shopping, simply checkout and our site will guide you through the rest of the ordering procedure.

Telephone Orders

You may telephone Oxford Event Hire Ltd. on 01865 760 158 Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. If you call out of hours, please leave your contact details on our answer machine and we will return your call as soon as possible. 


Following the request to hire products from Oxford Event Hire Ltd., you will receive a quotation by email.  You will be asked to ensure we have your correct invoicing and delivery addresses, landline and mobile telephone numbers, delivery, in-use and collection dates, as well as your products and quantities. Should there be any errors, you are required to immediately notify Oxford Event Hire Ltd., in writing.  Oxford Event Hire Ltd. cannot be held responsible for any unreported errors.

Please note that equipment detailed on a quotation is not held in reserve unless your order is confirmed.  Once you are happy with the details of your quotation, you may confirm your booking by making payment for your order.  If quotations are not confirmed, equipment will not be dispatched.

Payment for your Hire

Once you are happy with the details of your quotation, 50% deposit or full payment is required. Please note that orders are subject to a delivery charge (where applicable) and Value Added Tax (VAT).

Amending Your Order

You can amend your order at any time up to 48 hours prior to delivery. If you are increasing your order we will do our utmost to accommodate your requirements (subject to availability).


Confirmed orders can be cancelled in writing (via email or post) at any time.  However, Oxford Event Hire Ltd. reserve the right to charge 100% of the hire value for orders cancelled within 48 hours of delivery.

Insurance of hired Items

It is your responsibility to arrange insurance cover, if required.

Breakages, Damages, Lost or Missing Items

All broken, damaged, lost and/or missing items will be charged at the current replacement cost (substitute equipment is not acceptable).  Boxes, crates and laundry bags will be charged at £15.00 per box/crate/bag if damaged, missing or not returned.
