It will not be sold or disclosed to third parties without your permission unless we are required to do so by law. If cookies are used they will similarly only be used to assist the purposes set out in this privacy policy, but cookies will not be used if we do not consider them to be necessary.

    For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 we confirm that the proprietors of this site are Oxford Event Hire, 95 Old Road, Headington, Oxford, OX3 8SX.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

    All goods supplied are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

   1.      Goods at all times remain the property of Oxford Events Ltd.
   2.      The HIRER must satisfy them before use that all equipment ordered has been delivered and our attention should be drawn to any miscounts, omissions, wrong deliveries, or damaged equipment within 24 hours of delivery in order that charges may not undeservedly be made. No claims for deficiency or damage can be entertained by Oxford Events Ltd unless notified accordingly.
   3.      The HIRER is responsible for any loss or damage to the goods, from time of delivery, until a representative of Oxford Events Ltd collects them.
   4.      The HIRER should ensure that a responsible person is at the delivery address to receive the goods.
   5.      The hire period is for up to 72 hours (3 days).
   6.      The hire must be repacked in its entirety on the agreed collection day/timeWasted journeys will be charged for.
   7.      Deliveries left at HIRERS premises unattended are left at the HIRERS RISK
   8.      Payment is to be made within 14 days of receipt of invoice, except when account facilities have been granted by prior arrangement. A late payment charge will be applied otherwise.
   9.      We reserve the right to charge 25% on the Accepted Quotation on all orders cancelled, or if cancelled within 21 days of the event a charge of 50% will be made. All orders cancelled within 5 days of event 100% charge applies.
  10.      Charges for delivery and collection will be quoted when an order is made.
  11.      Delivery charge is for a Door-to-Door service, where delivery entails taking goods to specific rooms or setting up etc, an additional charge will be made.
  12.      Goods may be returned dirty/soiled.
  13.      We are not liable for any injury to persons or property caused by the use of the goods and equipment hired.
  14.      The hirer shall fully indemnify Oxford Events Ltd in respect of any claims by any person whatsoever (including the hirer, his servants, agents or employees) for death or personal injury or damage to property caused by or in conjunction with or arising out of the use of hired items and in respect of all costs and charges arising under statute or common law or otherwise.
  15.      We reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding accounts at a rate of 5% per month.
  16.      It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the items hired are fully covered by his/her own insurance with regards to theft, loss, damage and public liability risks etc unless a damage waiver has been negotiated with Oxford Events Ltd.
  17.      Goods are offered subject to remaining unless upon receipt of any order and, whilst we shall make every effort at all times to carry out all orders accepted, it must be a condition that we shall not be responsible for any loss sustained as the result of delay or non delivery caused by breakdown, accidents, labor disputes, fire, flood, abnormal weather conditions, or any other causes beyond our control.
  18.      The following must be adhered to when hiring a marquee or party tent:
      a. Heating or cooking equipment must be placed a minimum of 2 meters from the marquee or tent panels and not left unattended whilst in use
      b. No heating or cooking within the marquee or tent other than by an electrical appliance or purpose designated Butane or Propane gas appliances
      c. Barbecue equipment or open fires must be used outside and placed a minimum of 4.5 meters from the marquee or tent.
  19.      EQUIPMENT IS HIRED ON THE ABOVE CONDITIONS ONLY AND AN ACCEPTANCE OF EQUIPMENT IS ACCEPTANCE OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE.
